How much Dancing On Ice 2022 competitors, judges and pro skaters get paid

Dancing On Ice is finally back on our screens after the first episode aired last Sunday.

ITV’s hit dance show has garnered huge views and fans who are dedicated to the stars’ lives on and off screen.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby return to present the ITV show, while Strictly’s Oti Mabuse makes her Dancing on Ice judge debut alongside Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo after being confirmed as a replacement by John Barrowman.

Tonight, the next six stars will take their place on the ice and the first elimination will take place.

Famous faces ready to put on their skates include Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, Happy Monday dancer Bez, Paralympian Stef Reid and Love Island’s Liberty Poole.

While the stars are currently on our screens, one question everyone is asking is how much the stars are being paid to appear on the popular show.

How much do Dancing On Ice stars get paid?

Unfortunately, we don’t know the exact salary the Dancing On Ice stars receive during their time on the show, but it is believed that checks worth between £20,000 and £100,000 are on offer.

The ITV dance show is different from the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing when it comes to celebrity payouts.

The BBC show gives all stars the same salary until they progress through the competition.

However, Dancing On Ice celebrities may simply charge a different fee for appearing on the show.

Amazon Prime has thousands of original series, sports documentaries and movies you can subscribe to watch here for just £7.99/month plus one month free trial included.

Disney+ is here in the UK and if you pay an annual subscription, you can save viewers 15%, giving you access to Disney and Pixar films, and popular series such as The Mandalorian. New O2 customers or existing customers who upgrade their package can get up to 6 months free of Disney+.

Additionally, Apple TV offers a free try for seven days, but remember the subscription will auto-renew at £4.99/month, so remember to cancel if you don’t want it anymore.

netflix is available on your smartphone, tablet, smart TV, laptop or streaming device, all for one fixed monthly fee. Plans range from £5.99 to £13.99 per month. No additional fees, no contracts.

In 2013, ITV bosses paid £150,000 for former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson to appear on the show.

ITV hoped the Canadian-American’s time on the show would attract millions of viewers to the series.

However, it backfired when the star left the show in the first round, after being voted out to compete in the skate-off with Keith Chegwin.

She only performed a 90-second dance and a 60-second skate before her exit.

The skating time means his time on the show costs ITV around £1,000 per second.

How are Dancing On Ice professional skaters paid?

The professional dancers work tirelessly with the celebrities, months before the start of the show.

Unlike the judges, they are involved in the show throughout the week, as they have to rehearse with their star partner.

It’s unclear how much the pros are paid.

How are judges paid?

ITV bosses have not revealed how much they pay judges, but Strictly Come Dancing judges are paid at least £200,000 per series.

What do Dancing On Ice celebrities get if they win the show?

There is no additional cost for Dancing On Ice contestants if they win, just bragging rights and a big trophy presented by Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield.

Even if they don’t win a big cash prize, they can land TV gigs after winning the ITV.
