How much do the competitors, the pros earn?

Work hard for the money! Because Dancing with the stars debuted in 2005, it was a huge hit for ABC and went through many changes, including the salaries the actors earn.
When the show launched, Thomas Bergeron and Lisa Canning co-hosted the first season. Samantha Harris replaced Canning for seasons 2–9 with Brooke Burke-Charvet cohosting for seasons 10 to 17. Erin Andrews stepped in for season 18 and remained alongside Bergeron until season 28.
In 2020, ABC announced that the co-hosts would not be returning for season 29. Instead, Tyra Banks stepped in. Despite the show’s mixed fan reviews, Banks is also set to return for season 30 in 2021.
“I mean, you know, Tom Bergeron and Erin. They run the show, it’s one of the highest rated shows in the world,” the model said. We Weekly exclusively when taking office in September 2020. [I’m] respecting the decor they put together and then adding my cherry to that. I’m confident about it, but of course it’s a challenge, but I don’t back down from challenges.
In addition to host changes, professional dancers also change in different seasons. Artem Chigvintsev, for example, was cut from season 28 at the last minute of the show and was admittedly heartbroken by the experience.
“Obviously it was a huge shock,” he said on “The Bellas Podcast” in August 2019. “It’s not even a job, it’s a way of life if you’ve been doing it for a very long time. There was never a thought in my mind that I wasn’t going to do this. … To receive this call, [hearing] “There won’t be any involvement in the show from now on, it’s like going through a breakup after 10 years.”
Fortunately, the star was brought back for the following season and eventually won with Kaitlyn Bristowe as his partner.
