Jenna Bush Hager talks about what inspired her to “get in shape”
TODAY Show host Jenna Bush Hager talks about her workout routine and reveals what spurred her on to “get in shape.” While talk to entertainment tonightBush Hager admitted he was asked to film an NFL cheerleading segment in his hometown. “I gotta tell you, when your boss says you’re going to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader — and I grew up in Dallas — guess what? You’re trying to get in shape,” she joked. .
After emphasizing his physique to film the cheerleading segment, Bush Hager didn’t stop training. “I keep going,” she shared. “It was about time. I had three kids. My youngest is two. It’s just kind of a progression to get back into fighting shape.” She then shared the details of her routine. “I have friends who meet me a few days a week at my building and I train with this amazing woman who was a [New York] Knicks dancer, So yeah. There is dancing. The [are] ab workouts, which frankly [I] I didn’t have an ab before I started, but I found a little in there.”
Bush Hager is one of the most beloved hosts of TODAY. Daughter of former U.S. President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, Hager began her professional life in the early 2000s as a teacher’s aide at the Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School in Washington, D.C.
